PTA Financial Nuisance in Our Schools:

School will soon resume, new students shall be subjected to the usual nuisance of PTA levies and dues.

But the Constitution of Ghana foresees all these, and proactively protects citizens from being forced to join an Association. Freedom of Association is enshrined in the Constitution to protect the vulnerable in society. Article 21, Clause 1(e):

Therefore, no parents can be coerced to pay PTA levies and dues.

If you have, you pay, if you don’t have, it is illegal to be forced and/or harassed over PTA financial activities in schools.

 

Parents/Guardians must take note.
