Who We Are

SAY Business Solutions & Engineering Consortium, was established in 2018 as a Consortium company with membership from the Ghana Institution of Engineering, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, Oil & Gas Refinery and Marketing Companies (Local & International), Petroleum & Energy Commission, Departments of Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical & Petroleum Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology & University of Ghana, Ghana Welding Bureau (GWB), Danest Engineering Co. Ltd, DANEST Mechanical/Metallurgical Testing Laboratory, Israel Advanced System Laboratories Ghana, Celltel Networks Ltd, and science and technology based NGOs (Institute of Industrial Skills Development of Africa Development Council).

SAY Business Solutions & Engineering Consortium, addresses integrated business enterprise planning with expertise in manufacturing of engineering products, engineering consultancy and general merchants.
The company’s social impact management system supports the design and deployment of inclusive, equitable environmentally sustainable clean energy transformation, including poverty reduction, women empowerment, skills development and job creation, proactive participation, access to affordable and reliable clean energy in under-serviced communities.

What we do

Our Engineering Consulting focuses on delivering solutions across the following critical business areas:

THE GROUP

INDUSOL-G (Industrial Solutions Group) is an integrated industrial engineering, consulting, R&D and training Group operating under the auspices of the National Nuclear Research Institute (NNRI) of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC). The Group consists of experts in the field of Materials,
Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic and Nuclear Engineering; with a vast range of experience in industrial research and development. The Group aims at addressing quality control and assurance related issues in industries.

Using Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) techniques and Destructive Testing, INDUSOL-G provides consultancy and inspection services on engineering materials, equipment, assemblies, components and installations to assess their structural integrity as well as industrial flow systems. INDUSOL-G also provides a number of non-destructive examinations, electrical/electronic services and
training. Our services include:

This method is mainly used for the detection of welding defects using X-ray or Gamma (Ir-192) ray

Liquid penetrant method is used for detection of surface defects and leaks in welds.

Fig b: Crack detection using liquid penetrant testing

This is used for surface and sub-surface discontinuity detection in ferromagnetic materials.

Fig c: Crack detection using magnetic particle testing

This is used for material discontinuity detection,
thickness measurements of LPG transporting and storage tanks as well as check integrity of welds.

Fig d: Thickness measurement of an LPG tank using ultrasonic testing method

This method allows for troubleshooting industrial process vessels for anomalies such as dead or stagnant
volume, channelling, short-circuiting and improper mixing

Column (tower) scanning technique is used to examine the internal structure of distillation columns and
allied vessels using gamma rays

NDT techniques are analytical tools that are mostly used in industry to evaluate defects in a material,
component or system without causing damage to their material properties.
NDES uses four different NDT techniques namely radiographic (it uses radioactive materials enclosed in
a camera and X-ray generating devices), ultrasonic, liquid penetrant and magnetic-particle test methods.
