Ghana's Free SHS Policy Nearly Got Derailed On the Alter of PTA Dues & Levies, But For the Swift Intervention of Government, When ADC and Others made an SOS:

) The Africa Development Council (ADC), gives a thumbs up to the Government of Ghana over what it describes the smartest way, some school Authorities colluded with some PTA executives to forcibly collect fees purported to be PTA dues plus other charges, without which, a ward could not be allowed admission to Government Sponsored Free Senior High Schools (SHS), when schools reopened last Monday, 20th, October, 2025.

2) Upon SOSs from individuals, including the Good Governance Directorate of the ADC, Government acted swiftly, assuring the victims of refund of money upon thorough investigations.

3) This is a show of good leadership, good governance and government for the people.

4) It is our hope and belief, that government’s promises are carried out to the letter.

The END.
